The LRT is an environmentally-focused mode of transport that will reduce green house gases and noise pollution to provide a clean, efficient travel. It will prove to be a sustainable mode of public transport for the citizens of Mauritius by reducing the pressure on the road network and reduce the over-reliance on cars and buses.
